Our Vision

We are called again to make history today by starting the long-waited renewal of our Damianos Peters Parish Center. This is the third phase of our initial building campaign which began in 2010 with the Sunday school addition, followed by the new Byzantine church building.

The project presented today seeks a wise balance between expansion dreams and economic resources so we can meaningfully express our Orthodox heritage while nurturing our needs for hospitality, education and growth.

The Damianos Peter Center will feature a new hall able to comfortably accommodate over 220 people, a brand-new multimedia room, a cozy lounge area, a larger and modernized kitchen with a walk-in cooler, updated and expanded bathrooms and so on.

Interior

  • 2,700 square foot expanded dining hall with seating for 220+ (was 1,400 square feet)
  • 330 square foot multi-media room
  • 480 square foot updated, safe and efficient commercial kitchen (was 330 square feet)
  • 200 square foot walk-in cooler/freezer
  • 430 square foot ADA compliant expanded restrooms (was 250 square feet)
  • 250 square foot storage addition
  • Expanded bookstore

Exterior

  • New façade with covered entrance with Austin stone masonry, matching the church
  • Exterior deck and landscaping on south side
  • Pedestrian bridge replacement over creek
  • Drainage improvement to the north side

This well well-thought out project is the product of the creative and practical minds of our team of architects, engineers, builders and financial experts.  We are confident that together we will construct a Parish Center that will fuel the renewal of our community.
